2017 Favorite Things: Florals

Posted December 26, 2017

What an adventure this year has been… and how time flies! After venturing far and wide in an oh-so-eventful year, we can’t believe 2018 is merely a week away. Before we explore what the new year has to offer, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite things from 2017. From fairy-tale florals to dazzling details to fabulous finds, we are so excited to share our most-loved event elements of this past year.

First up are our favorite florals!

Barbie and Beau’s Greenacres wedding was the perfect blend of preppy and bohemian. Yellow Canary Flowers created the centerpieces, featuring soft ivory and blush florals with bold pops of magenta placed inside these statement-making Ginger Jar vases. What a stunning combination!

We could not have imagined a more beautiful setting for Alex and Sari’s Canadian mountain wedding — until we saw the florals created by Willow Flower Co.! The Pampas grass floral arch was the perfect focal point for their outdoor ceremony, and the reception was just as spectacular with a decadent floral hanging fixture. Bold and colorful galore!

Jordan and Zach’s fall wedding was nothing short of lush and elegant with an abundance of hanging florals created by the talented Robin Wood Flowers!

For this year’s Stanley Steemer Gala, Orchard Lane Flowers created fun Pomander Ball floral centerpieces that tied in perfectly with the retro bingo party theme. How fun!

This year we faced quite the challenge when we were tasked with turning a parking lot into a fabulous welcome party for a corporate conference. With the help of Flora Bella‘s beautiful centerpieces, this outdoor party was rustic chic in all the right ways.

When an event planner gets to plan her own wedding, you know it’s going to be fabulous! Monica’s wedding was all that and more. From the hanging floral chandeliers, the garland adorning the rafters, to the flowers on the cake and the bridal bouquet, Yellow Canary nailed the floral design for this romantic winter wedding.
