Fun Party Food Ideas from Fresh & Fancy's Amy! *Cincinnati Wedding Planner*

Posted August 17, 2012
Hello, viva bella readers!  It’s Amy from Fresh & Fancy again!  I am so glad to be back with a topic that is one of my favorites…party foods!  Something about planning a dinner party just excites me, and I love having people come over for get togethers at our home.  For me, one of the most fun aspects of a party, aside from the decor…is planning the menu!  It’s always nice to have foods that allow your guests to mingle and talk, and not feel tied down to their plates.  Here are a few of my favorite Pinterest-inspired party foods that would be great for dinner parties, couple’s showers, bridal showers, football gamedays, baby showers, or just about any get together you can think of!
Individual Seven Layer Dip

I think these mini seven layer dips are adorable!  We actually served these at a Wedding Couple’s Shower this Winter, and they were a huge hit.  We had a Fiesta Theme and they were so easy and unique.  They would also be perfect for football season if you have a group of people over to watch the game.

Jalapeno Cream Cheese Poppers

I have had these Jalapeno Crescent Poppers at a Christmas Party, and they were gone in like 5 seconds!  Crazy good, and very simple to make!  If you need something easy with a big impact, make these!

 Chic Veggie Buffet

How cute is this veggie display.  This would be so great for a bridal shower, or any other kind if girly party you are hosting.  I love how the dips are in martini glasses too…so fun!
Cheese Platter with Chalkboard Tray

This is one of my favorite party foods…the cheese platter.  You can make this as simple or gourmet as you wish, and the chalkboard tray adds so much character.  Goat cheese with a delicious fig spread is my favorite addition to a cheese platter, and always a hit with guests.  Also, the chalkboard tray would be a very easy DIY project to add some interest to any party food display.
Thanks again for having me!  Have a wonderful day!
